This position holds an integral role in leading transformational leadership development and implementing and promoting a range of organisational development projects, programs, and learning solutions guided by the University’s new strategic direction.

About the role

You will define and implement corporate OD, L&D, D&I and Health and Wellness strategies, plans and policies in addition to providing specialist expertise to the Director, Human Resources and the Executive Team.

The AD will strategically partner with Schools and Directorates in the development of organisational culture, values, performance management, leadership, employee engagement and all aspects of organisational change and development.

The incumbent can be based at either the Ballarat (preferred) or Berwick Campus, and will be required to travel regularly across Campuses.

About you

You will have a level of specialist expertise which enables you to consult on transformational leadership, organisational capability and performance, leadership and management, project management, coaching and mentoring, team building, professional development and/or communication skills.

You will have lead an internal OD function, with experience in D&I, Strategic HR Business Partnering, Wellness and/or L&D. Your project management and consultancy skills will be exemplary, with the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and problem solve with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will have lead organisational-wide transformation (change) programs, and be committed to digital solutions, innovation, agility and a customer-centric mentality.
