Temporary Employee Relations role in Melbourne

Your new company
An excellent opportunity to work for a public sector statutory authority based in Melbourne's CBD. Our client requires additional support due to a period of leave. The organisation operates in a very complex space and are looking for an Employee Relations Consultant with demonstrated experience in the Victorian Public Sector.

Your new role
In this role you will work closely with your team to manage ER cases. You will work on a consultative basis, working closely with managers and the unions. In this role you will be required to provide advice across the full range of employee relations issues, including but not limited to misconduct, health and performance management. In this role you may also work on workforce planning projects and be involved in EBA negotiations.

What you'll need to succeed
An excellent understanding of workplace relations within the Victorian State Government. You will show excellent attention to detail and be a process driven person. It is important that you are empathetic yet resilient and adaptable. Experience working in the Victorian Public Sector is essential, with a good understanding of EBA's and working with the unions being highly regarded.

What you'll get in return
A full time temporary role, with the possibility for extension. You will receive a competitive hour rate around $60ph + super with flexible working arrangements on offer, you will be paid weekly. In this role you will work in a small team, with direct reports, based in Melbourne's CBD close to public transport.
