Two month temporary contract for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist.

Our client is a National integrated services organisation successfully embedded within a diverse group of sectors.

They are seeking the expertise of an experienced Employee Relations specialist for a period of two months plus to support a period of transformation and increased workload.

You will be responsible for building a culture of trust and transparency through the provision of business partnering with the executive and management surrounding the legislative framework, and proactive support and advice related to industrial and employment relations.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Coaching and development of line and operational management
  • Timely resolution of disciplinary and grievance investigations
  • Monitor, review and support negotiation of industrial tools
  • Representation at Fair Work where required and support legal representatives
  • Review, development and design of policies and procedures
  • Manage, monitor and report on all employee and industrial relations matters
  • Recommend and initiate strategies to remain both compliant and proactive within employee and industrial relations


To be successful in your application you will have extensive prior experience within a specialist employee relations position and can demonstrate the ability to work in a multi-site, multi-disciplined environment. You will possess a comprehensive knowledge of the Fair Work Act, award and agreement interpretation and have exposure to complex investigations and ideally industrial advocacy.

It is essential that you have strong analytical and reporting skills, the ability to negotiate and influence, and can translate business objectives into commercial employee relations strategies.

Limited travel will be required.

This is a temporary contract that requires an immediate start.
