4 month Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor role within Government organisation paying between $55-60 p/hr
About the Role
My client has an exciting opportunity for a Health Safety & Wellbeing Advisor to join their People & Culture team. This is a unique opportunity to work right across the business, covering all aspects of health, safety and wellbeing. In this role as the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor you will use your knowledge of HSW to research, develop and implement HRS strategies and policies. You will be responsible for the implementation of the HSW strategy and the organisation-wide initiatives. Key to the success of this role will be the ability to Shape Strategy & Direction, Cultivate Partnerships, Lead Transformation and Embrace Accountability.
Key Responsibilities include (but not limited)
- Provide specialist research, advice and input into the HSW Strategy
- Evaluate the effectiveness and identify risks with the HSW strategy and make appropriate modifications to increase the effectiveness of current and future initiatives.
- Provide high level advice and support to senior executives and key internal stakeholders
- Manage the development and implementation of HSW policies, procedures and practices
- Research, develop and maintain the HSW program.
- Implement and maintain a continuous improvement program for the Health Wellbeing framework. This includes the successful achievement of the Healthy Mind, Body and Living program and initiatives
- Responsible for the case management of injury management and accelerating meaningful return to work outcomes for staff
- Manage internal investigations and implementation of controls as required.
This is opportunity is initially for 3-4 months and paying $60 p/hr + super.
