Your new role

The COS Skills Enablement Lead will provide hands-on development and delivery of priority operational and technical training programs to ensure that Central Operations Services (COS) staff have the capabilities to meet the expectations of the organisation's customers. The position collaborates with COS Leadership Team, Managers, Team members, HR, and Organisation Development to implement robust and comprehensive training solutions for COS staff and suppliers. This role focusses on delivering priority training for technical systems and processes.
  • Design and Develop Online Courses: Create engaging online learning activities and compelling course content within the Canvas LMS
  • Canvas LMS Expertise: Utilise advanced features of the Canvas LMS to create interactive and engaging online learning experiences.
  • Curriculum Development: Work with CX Designers to identify target audience's training needs and develop a curriculum that meets those needs within the Canvas LMS.
  • Evaluation: Develop assessment within Canvas to measure learner's performance, analyse data and adjust curriculum as needed.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience designing and developing online courses, ideally within a higher education or corporate learning environment.
  • Hands-on expertise with Canvas LMS, including using advanced features to build interactive and engaging learning experiences.
  • Strong background in curriculum development, with the ability to collaborate with CX Designers or subject-matter experts to tailor content to specific learner needs.
  • Experience creating assessments and evaluation tools
    within Canvas to measure learner performance and adjust content based on data insights.
  • Understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and digital pedagogy.
  • Ability to analyse learner data and feedback
    to continuously improve course effectiveness and learner outcomes.
